Yoga Influences: I draw inspiration from all forms of movement not just yoga, I have tried to find the gaps within the practice to create a Mindful Movement practice that fuses my knowledge of functional anatomy and movement to make the practice more sustainable a relevant to our lives at this time.

Background: I have over 20 years experience working with the human body as a massage therapist and yoga teacher, I successfully ran Urban Ashram studio in Ponsonby for 9 years, I continue to run a yearly Teacher Training program and mentor teachers, I have worked with many athletes and a wide range of private clients to enhance human performance.
Why I practice: I practice for a multitude of reasons, to stay connected to my highest self, to stay sane, fit, agile, healthy and happy. Yoga is so ingrained as a part of my life, everything is an opportunity to practice.
Why I teach: It brings me great joy to see people become more confident in their bodies, to move better with less pain, to help others discover the joys of yoga - there really is nothing quite like it!
