Background: Devoted yogini, performing artist, choreographer, researcher and educator, since 2004 I have studied the intersection between yogic science, meditation, movement practices and performing arts. I am originally from Bogotá- Colombia and have been a resident of New Zealand since 2018. My profound exploration of yoga and spirituality commenced in 2007 through the sacred lineage of kriya yoga. This deeply cherished meditation technique was the cornerstone of my daily sadhana for many years. In 2012, I encountered kundalini yoga, a practice that not only helped me regulate my mind and emotions, but also facilitated the release of trauma and anxiety through dedicated daily practice. Kundalini became a beacon of transformation for me,enabling me to share its profound tools of healing and growth with others.
Why I practice: My personal sadhana, cultivated since 2007, is my most cherished treasure, granting me the key to self-initiation through unwavering commitment. For me, my personal sadhana is as essential as brushing my teeth—a ritual of mental and emotional hygiene that allows me to delve into the depths of love, compassion, and forgiveness towards both myself and others. Through consistent practice, I’ve witnessed profound transformations in my nervous, glandular, and musculoskeletal systems, profoundly influencing my perception and experience of the world. Daily practice is my ultimate act of self-love and care, a non-negotiable in my life.
Why I teach: My journey has been enriched by remarkable yoga masters who imparted their wisdom and experience with profound compassion, love and authenticity. The transmission of kundalini yoga teachings, and spiritual wisdom in general, is a heart-to-heart exchange—one where the transformative power of the teacher’s personal experience resonates deeply with those seeking true alchemy and enlightenment. Having received countless blessings and transformations along my path, I recognize the profound responsibility and gift that is to share these invaluable tools with others. Teaching is my expression of love and gratitude, offering others the means to embark on their own journey of self-transformation and self-initiation through their own practice and sadhana.

"The sun is within me and so is the moon” ~ Kabir
“We came whirling out of nothingness, scattering stars like dust...The stars made a circle, and in the middle, we dance.” ~ Rumi
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” ~ Albert Einstein
