Background: My story begins under the vibrant African skies, born to immigrant parents whose legacy infused my life with a mosaic of colors, richness, and profound experiences. Armed with qualifications in Psychology and Education, I embarked on a global voyage, establishing homes in the Middle East, Mexico, the USA, Belgium, and now settling in New Zealand.
Since the tender age of 4, movement and dance have been intrinsic to my life, starting with a journey into classical ballet. My introduction to Siddha Yoga while in Mexico marked the genesis of my deep exploration into the world of Yogic practices. In Belgium, I realized my dream of running my own counselling practice while pursuing my passion for Classical Homeopathy, which I continue to practice in my clinic in Auckland.
Why I practice: I lead purpose-driven life steeped in holistic medicine, where Yoga early on emerged as an indispensable component. The revelation of Kundalini Yoga was a turning point. Completing my teacher training at Auckland's Golden Yogi, I now wholeheartedly embrace and integrate this rich form of Yoga into my daily existence.
Why I teach: Teaching and sharing this holistic form of Yoga, encompassing breathwork (pranayama), mantra, chanting, and physical postures, serves as a vessel to unlock life's transformative potential within the community, fostering elevation and growth for all.
