Inspirational teachers: Books:The Language of Yin, Teaching yoga beyond posture, Asana Pranayama Mudra Bandha, Patanjari Yoga Sutra, Textbook of Yoga poses, Yoga Bible. Person: Honestly, every teacher I encounter is unique and inspiring in their own way!

Background: I am a Japanese full-time corporate worker who cherishes the balance between corporate life and wellness activities. I love designing my yoga classes to be as textbook authentic as possible. I believe that originality and unique flair naturally arise from my personality, the atmosphere, and the audience in the class.

Why I practice: I believe yoga is a practice of finding "How are you today?"—a time to notice how my body, mind, and focus are today. I love taking the time to pay attention and check in with every part of my body, and yoga fits perfectly into my routine.

Why I teach: Just because... so many beautiful things happen! Seeing people wake up from savasana is rewarding, as is hearing about their moments and their day.
