The Creative Art of Assisting and Adjustments
Friday 15th March, 9.30am - 4.30pm
1-Day Immersion (6 Hours of CE's with Yoga Alliance)
Join Tymi for a full day of exploring and workshopping adjustments, modifications, assists & creative options in the yoga asanas. he goal of this workshop is to inspire and cultivate a better understanding of how to intuitively and safely assist the student in discovering more freedom, bliss and deeper expression of an asana. By understanding the biomechanics of the poses and trusting your intuitive instincts a student and teacher can deepen their practice through creative, fun exploration of the asanas. Immersion includes a 2 Hour Vinyasa Yoga practice followed by 4 hours of workshop time for yoga teachers & students; this immersion is open to ALL.
Rock The Bhakti
Saturday 16th March, 12.30pm - 3.30pm
One of Tymi's signature vinyasa flow classes, "Rock the Bhakti" is a celebration of Love, Service, and Life. Learn what Bhakti is all about in this nondogmatic, playful and artfully sequenced flow class using both contemporary music and kirtan beats. Open up to the very heart of your practice, using chanting, pranayama, asana, and meditation. Learn how to intelligently and efficiently open the shoulders, chest, and spine to experience the power of the Anahata (Heart) Chakra. As our hearts open they literally become "unstruck" and we are able to experience the flow of unconditional love. Not to leave out the lower body, we will also dive into quad, psoas, hamstring, and hip releases. You will most definitely sweat, sing, laugh and when the spirit moves dance!

Malas, Mantra and Meditation
Saturday 16th March, 4.30pm - 6.30pm
Each student will receive their own Mala (from Bali Malas) along with a "Mala's Mantra and Meditation" study guide packed with theory, philosophy and mantras. We will go over the meaning, symbolism and significance of the 108 beads/ seeds of the Mala. You will learn how to Cleanse, Charge and Use the Mala for japa and mantra, in order to deepen your practice. This workshop involves lecture/ discussion, mantra, papa and meditation.
2 Hours of CE's with Yoga Alliance.
Foundations of Flight
Sunday 17th March, 9.30am - 11.30pm
Let’s strip it down and focus our attention solely on being upside down. In this workshop, we will investigate a multitude of aspects that allow us to hold a safe and stable arm balance and headstand. The feet, the hips, the core, the shoulder girdle, the wrists and hands all play an important role in getting and staying upside down. We’ll open, strengthen and integrate through an intelligent flow of foundational poses to build the strength and body awareness needed to fly. We may incorporate wall-work, partner work, and ultimately move towards solo flight.
All levels are welcome. Variations and modifications will be given to beginners and frequent flyers alike. 2 Hours of CE's for Yoga Alliance.
Subtle Anatomy & Chakras
Sunday 17th March,12.15pm - 4.15pm
Experience the powerful balancing effects of this complete practice focused on the different energetic principles and elements of the 7 main Chakras. Learn the aspects and qualities of each Chakra beginning at the Root (Muladhara) Chakra and working our way up to the Crown (Sahasrara) Chakra. Immersion will include handouts, lecture, asana (both vinyasa & yin based) and meditation practice.Dive into and learn all about the Subtle Anatomy, systems of the body and 7 Main Chakras, followed by a Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Meditation practice.

Tymi Howard (500 E-RYT) is an International Yoga Teacher, Certified Holistic Health Coach and Owner of Guruv Yoga Studios in the United States. Pioneering the Vinyasa Yoga movement in Central Florida, Tymi is dedicated to inspiring people to discover their life purpose through the art of yoga.
Her introduction to yoga began in NYC in 1993 as a professional ballet dancer with several nagging injuries and she found her way into an Ashtanga class. Receiving her BA in Theatre and Dance from Rollins College and Masters Degree from NYU/ Circle in the Square, and many Yoga Teacher Trainings, she continues to be influenced by so many gifted teachers. Tymi is known in the yoga community as a "Teacher of Teachers" and a skilful graceful practitioner. Students fall in love with her dynamic, playful style of teaching, artistic sequencing and music! Self-proclaimed travel junky, blogger and animal rights advocate, she is a lover of God, Life and Yoga.
