Born to immigrant parents and holocaust survivors under a bright African sky, life has been colourful
and rich and intense. After completing a degree in Psychology and Education I started teaching English as a second
language and working as a marriage counsellor until my two sons were born.
In 1988 Life took me and my family to Los Angeles where we worked and studied and played till
1990 when once again the gypsy in me called and we packed our bags and moved to the Benelux.
Living in a wonderful house in a big pine forest just outside of Antwerp, provided the perfect setting
for more study and a home-based practice. Management consulting, education and psychology all
colours on the palette. It was during this time that I decided to follow a dream of studying holistic
medicine. I studied Classical Homeopathy in Amersfoort, Holland with Frans Vermeulen followed by
post graduate studies in The Hague and Mumbai, India. I have been very fortunate to be taught by
some of the most inspirational masters in this field.
The Millennium took us back down under, this time to Auckland, New Zealand where I have lived
and worked for the past 18 years. Working full time in practice is a privilege and serving on the New
Zealand Council of Homeopaths an honour.
Teaching Homeopathy is a passion and I always say “if you don’t get it…..teach it!!!!” Sharing one’s
insights and experience is rewarding and necessary.
But Life is not only about work but also about play!! I come from a very mixed cultural background. French, Polish, Russian and South African influences are all expressed in the way I cook. Spending time with family and friends around a kitchen table, laughing and sharing food must be one of the best ways to spend an evening. Yoga, the outdoors, nature, colours and travel are all part of my play!
Grateful for all that Life has gifted me, including two gorgeous granddaughters and a handsome
grandson, and the ability and freedom to still dance classical ballet regularly, is what upholds my
work and practice and dedication to the world of Homeopathy.
