Inspirational teachers: My teachers that I continue to learn from, Janet Stone and Melissa Billington.   I am inspired by my fellow teachers in the community and from the students that attend my weekly classes - I learn something from them every day. I also admire Tiffany Cruikshank, Anna Forrest, Meghan Currie, Chelsey Korus and Elena Brower.

Background: I have a background working as an arts producer and publicist. I came to yoga through a back injury in 2007 and I haven’t look back. I have been lucky to spend many years traveling on and off and have studied yoga in Bali, India, and the USA. Through travel and yoga experiences, I have discovered that what is most important is holding space for each other, both on-and-off the mat. For me yoga is a living breathing thing - everything is yoga. 

Why I practice: I practice for the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga and to connect with the community. 

Why I teach: Firstly for fun and joy! I teach yoga to bring the benefits of the practice to others.  Yoga changed me as a person and helped me to discover my path. It opened up possibilities, enabling me to peel away the layers and distractions that held me back from stepping into my truth. Through teaching, I aim to hold and offer a space for others to unfold in their journey, whatever that may be.
