Background: I started early in my teens with Yoga and Meditation, but it was an intermittent journey. Stretches of advancing my yoga and meditation practice were followed by times of neglect. I have to thank my wife that - after moving to New Zealand - I found my teachers. Satyananda Yoga started to bring together the asana, the meditation and the spiritual side of yoga.
Why I practice: Yoga is my anchor, my retreat, my place of peace. Yoga improves my life physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Why I teach: I teach because I enjoy sharing with others and being the medium by which Yoga can enhance their lives.
