Training Certificates or Qualifications:  500 hr RYT, Dip Yoga, Somatics Level 1, prenatal Yoga Teacher, and certified BODYBALANCE® Instructor.

Yoga Influences:  Satyananda yoga, Iyengar yoga and Vinyasa flow.

Inspirational teachers: There are many. So many. My main inspirations are DRs Pooja & Shridar, Caitlin Casey, Yogi Nora and Troy Hadeed.

Background: I was first introduced to meditation as a young child. In my teens I found Satyananda yoga and discovered martial arts. As a young adult I forgot all about eastern discipline and spiritual practises as I went on a more worldly and indulgent path. While working as a journalist in Copenhagen I hit a wall and experienced both anxiety and depression. My life was full of material things, but I was spiritually bereft and unhappy. Then yoga found me. Scraped me off of the floor. Got me back on my feet, and I have not looked back.

Why I practice:  I practise to attain a deeper connection to all that is. To understand the mysteries of life. For my physical and mental health. And in order to keep peeling away the layers, and become a better person.

Why I teach:  Through yoga practise (both asana and the spiritual practises as outlined by Patanjali) I have received greater wealth than I could ever have imagined. I am so thankful. The very least I can do is pay it forward.
