Background: I grew up locally, right here on the North Shore of Auckland. I studied Science and Business at the University of Auckland. I taught for 8 years at a local swim school, where my passion for teaching really developed. My life currently involves a balance between practicing as an Accountant and teaching yoga.

Why I practice: I practice yoga as a means to reconnect back in with myself, my body, mind and intentions. Yoga allows me to find balance in my life and move through my day with ease, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. Time on my mat allows me to be present with all that is, space to process, space to move and breathe, most importantly space to be me.

Why I teach:  Being able to offer the gift of yoga to others is an absolute honor. I have seen the benefits of practicing yoga personally, thus wanting to share this with others came quite easily without question. Yoga is so much more than just the asana, I enjoy being able to offer a variety of different practices that can suit any body at any age.
